Why We Exist
We started with our hormone clinic when there were four people making under $500k in revenue. Like most cash-pay providers, we quickly realized running this business wasn’t medicine as usual, it was like running a retail business that no one in healthcare was trained on.
By building it differently, we grew to a team of 23, served thousands of patients, and generated $4.2M a year. When providers started asking how we did it, we knew our mission was bigger than just opening more locations.
Now, AMP exists to help clinics skip the struggle and accelerate their own path to success.

Jody Layne
Jody isn’t just a CEO, she’s a strategist, cheerleader, and straight-talker who knows exactly how to take a clinic from “just getting by” to predictably profitable. With decades of business and marketing experience, as well as having performed every role inside a hormone clinic (including the front desk when needed), she brings both the strategy and the heart needed to help clinic owners create the business and lifestyle they want, without burning out.
Jody Layne is the heart and driving force behind AMP. She’s spent decades mastering business strategy and marketing, and spent eight years hands on growing a successful hormone clinic during which time she’s gotten to perform (almost) every role inside a clinic while streamlining the operational processes and patient experience at every stage.
Her approach starts with your vision: the life and lifestyle you want as a clinic owner or provider. Not every owner dreams of having a multi-million dollar empire, and she gets that. Some want autonomy, some want to teach, some simply want more free time and less stress. Jody helps them craft the plan, build the team, and set the patient numbers to get there, step by step.
What makes her different? Her clients will tell you it’s the perfect mix of transparency, drive, and genuine care. When Jody says she’ll deliver, she does so with consistent updates, and a big dose of encouragement along the way. She has a knack for breaking down big, overwhelming problems into simple, actionable steps, all while inspiring owners to picture the results they want to achieve and make them real.

Patrick Dermody
Patrick is the COO who knows the medicine as well as the operations. With deep expertise in hormone therapy protocols, EMR workflows, and vendor relations, he’s the one clinic owners call when they need a solution fast because they know he’s “that guy that gets things done”. His hands-on “let me show you how it’s done” approach keeps teams efficient, stress-free, and running like clockwork.
Patrick Dermody is AMP’s behind-the-scenes problem solver and the go-to resource for just about anything a hormone clinic could throw his way. With a background that spans medical assistant, EMT, men’s health clinic manager, and general manager of a thriving hormone practice, he knows the inner workings of a clinic from every angle. Originally on track to become a Physician Assistant, Patrick shifted course to consulting so he could make a bigger impact by helping support clinics all over the country, instead of being tied to just one location.
Patrick’s superpower is Encyloparamedica: he has a vast, detailed knowledge of hormone medicine, from compound pharmacy processes and regulations to EMR optimization and workflow design. Whether it’s scheduling, protocols, or vendor relations, he’s seen it all before and knows exactly how to fix it.
What makes Patrick different is his “teach a man to fish” mentality. When he solves a problem, he doesn’t just fix it and move on, he walks you through the process, streamlines it, and leaves you confident to run it yourself. Clinics that are used to operating in constant reaction mode quickly learn how small efficiency tweaks can free up time, reduce chaos, and make everything run smoother.
Patrick’s leadership style can be summed up in five words: Don’t stress, we got this. Even in high-pressure situations, his easygoing, friendly demeanor keeps teams calm and focused. He’s approachable, trustworthy, and respected not just for his knowledge, but for his ability to make complex things feel simpler without ever talking down to anyone.
When he’s not helping clinics run at their best, you’ll find Patrick kayaking, tending to his garden, or at the beach. He’s also known for his love of extremely spicy food, his collection of pineapple shirts, and the kind of fun socks you remember long after the meeting ends.
